I have always wanted a towel warmer- I love to take baths at night and the thought of a warm towel sounds so relaxing. This warmer is nice - it has a lot of racks and places to hang a robe but it is just so large and sticks out pretty far on the top. I actually think it’s too big for my smaller sized main bath. This is a lovely, shiny gold heated towel rack. I think it’s quite nice. It was simple to assemble but a bit of a bear to install. I used measuring tape and level to double check placement and still had to move one screw slightly. Also, the molly bolts were not very useful as they bent trying to tap them into the wall. Smaller than I wanted it will not hold the towels side by side. If your plug is behind the rack there is not enough room for the towels to hang and its a fight to get them on the rack. Also the rack does not heat as well the only area that heats is where the towel is laying across the bar not just touching it. I havent had a chance to put this towel warmer up yet as I left to go out of state. But I am excited to use it as the winters are very cold in the Midwest and how nice it will be to have a warm towel getting out of the Shower. Everything looks pretty simple just hang and plug it in. When I think of cost spent, this is probably one of the least necessary things. It’s nice to have if you take a shower during the time that is set on your timer but when don’t there isn’t much time to manually have it heat up. Plus for two towels to get much of the heat, it’s hard bc really only two spots for it to get any heat. It works great though and is nice looking. Favorite thing in bathroom is heated floors. We've put it on the wall and powered it up and everything seems to be working as it should. I haven't yet measured the surface temperature of the panels but my "touch test" suggests it's at or close to the 158 degree advertised temperature. It also seems solidly built, so I feel confident it will hold up over time. Standard bath towels, first folded in half, fit pretty well, although they hang just a touch over the end. We also did a "hardwired" installation, with the wire running behind the wall to the junction box. This involves a little extra work, including cutting off the plug and stripping the wires, but it provides a "cleaner" look and in my view is worth the effort. My one modest complaint is that the wall anchors that are included don't feel sufficient for long-term hold, particularly on the 4-bar model. I strongly suggest that you find a stud for mounting, and use "wing" style anchors where a stud is not available. This is what we did and it now feels quite solid.
