I was a little worried when my package arrived as the box had some damage to it, but thankfully my headboard didn't. It can stand alone on it's own or attach to a bedframe. It is heavy enough to just stand on it's own, but I put bolts in mine, that didn't come with it, and mounted it to my frame. It does match the online description of it and its pictures very well. Looks good overall, but a couple downsides. One is that when sitting up watching TV or reading, your head leans against the sharp corners of the headboard which is quite uncomfortable. In addition, you have the top of the headboard to place pics and such on. Assembly did take longer than I expected but when done and set up, it looked great and she loves it. Nice that it doesn’t take up a ton of space but has outlets installed within reach. The distrust wood finish and black metal works perfectly with other accessories in the apartment Lovitt.
