The corner where the sideboards and the headboard connect have two bolts. The instructions implye that they should be at the same level, such that the corner adapter can slide in hand fasten them together .However they were not. 2) one of the groves on the metal frame could not geip the screw provided. It's cute I guess. The assembly is horrible. Takes forever so be prepared. Some pieces were damaged but Wayfair did send new ones except they sent the whole bed again so I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do with that. I almost never but things of here with no reviews but I've had good luck with Ebern products so I bit the bullet and got 2 for my kids. They came packed really well, the first took me about 90 minutes to put together and the second was only maybe half an hour. They came well packed and the instructions were easy to follow. Note that the drawers are just wire baskets on rollers but I think for the price it's a great deal. I can't speak to longevity since I just set them up but overall I am very happy with them..
