Best feeling shower ever! I felt this “PowderRain” shower head at a local supplier showroom and fell in love with it. The price here is ALOT lower! My plumber was impressed with the high quality parts. Don’t position the rain shower head too high above your head or the water will not be the right force and will cool down before it gets to you. About 12-15” I think is ideal. Found this out the hard way. Iwanted it tall enough for my husband, but we installed it too high to be optimal. The settings on the handheld shower wand are nice. There are three -one that has more force for rinsing out shampoo, and another with a spiral massage, as well as the same powder rain as the wall mounted shower head. It feels like getting soaked with a soft rain. More of a relaxing sensory experience which is why the other stronger setting on the handle shower is useful. The wall rod adjusts the height of the handwand easily and can be used as a separate overhead shower as well. I purchased the brushed nickel and the wall controller does get water spots so must be cleaned accordingly. (The grab bars in my picture were purchased separately and are not included in this kit). Beautiful shower but read reviews and watch videos! The shower works perfectly if installed correctly but there are a few steps vital to the installation that are not mentioned. 1. The fittings that go into the plumbing are European and not NPT. They are knuckled and very loose once screwed in. If you try to use plumbers tape the knuckled ridges will tear it off.. You therefore must use pipe sealant (all the reviews describing this step have been taken off, i assume the sites didn't want to promote brands of pipe sealant so I won't include any in the review) or it will leak. Once the sealant is applied you have a few minutes to adjust it properly but it will not move anymore once dry so be careful! 2. The temperature can be adjusted by removing the cap over the thermostat and unscrewing the module. There is a plastic ring with small increments that let you increase the temperature and reposition the module, otherwise you will have a cold shower even if you turn it past the safety zone.. Ive had this installed for a couple of weeks now. Love the 3 different settings. We ordered the stem piece in chrome and it fit perfectly. The pressure is great! You can have a more controlled center flow, medium, or large rainfall. Definitely worth it.. Renea. Western New York. Sat Sep 25 2021
