I just finished assembling this dresser, and I’m really impressed! The assembly took some time, but the instructions were easy to follow and everything fit together well. The size is exactly what I was looking for. It doesn’t take up too much floor space, yet it offers a surprising amount of storage. This dresser is exactly what I needed; it's just the right size and the design is very clean and fits right in with my turntable setup. The design is very clean and I love how the drawers are flush with the walls and the handles are very discreet. The delivery was very quick, and my package arrived safely after only 3 days from ordering. This was my first time ever buying and assembling a new piece of furniture, and I did it all solo, so putting everything together was definitely a challenge. Although it took much longer than it should have (having 2 people really helps if you’re considering building this on your own), but it was enjoyable. The materials used are somewhat questionable, but it seems to be holding up quite well so far. I didn’t have any alignment issues with the rails, but the cabinet door was a bit of an issue until I remembered the instructions show how to adjust it in the last page. I noticed the drawers weren’t moving smoothly at certain points, so I realized the screws that hold the rails on the dresser walls needed to be fully flush to avoid any sticking issues. After I tightened those screws, everything worked well. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this purchase and I really enjoy walking in the room and seeing this new dresser.. Gabriel. Texas. Hickory finish is similar to a white oak color, with color variations that look lovely in person and add to the organic modern vibe of the piece. Pulls are leather (hard to see in the photos). It's raw to the touch; may want to protect it with some matte finishing wax. Super roomy inside, and comes with 3 shelves. It was easy to assemble with 2 people. You almost need 2 people once is starts to be mostly together. That pressed wood can be heavy. It has that cheap backing but it all fit together well. We were able to adjust the doors so they closed nicely and then to get the seam between the doors to be small and straight. It took almost 2 hours. We choose this closet alternative for our nursery since we didnt have quite enough depth for an actual closet. It looks very nice put together. The industrial style rod system is made of metal and very sturdy as long as its anchored correctly. The drawers are fairly shallow so ideal for a nursery but probably not your main storage. There were some issues assembling it because there are 3 consecutive steps missing from the instructions. I was able to complete the missing steps but it may be difficult for others.. Tracy.
