This lovely tray is designed and crafted by Peru's Asunta Pelaez, who works in the time-honored art of reverse-painted glass. The bird and vine motifs are painted on the reverse side of a round glass pane before it is set into its wooden frame. The frame's antiqued gold finish complements the design nicely.
