This is a nice ice maker. I love cocktails and I have a ton of different ice makers, but none that make clear ice. I've made ice three times now and I still can't get the ice to come out perfectly square and clear -- an edge is always a little fuzzy or cracked, or there are some streaks running through. But overall I would say the ice is 90% clear and it looks even better when it's in the glass. The maker itself is fairly large, but I think it has to be to make the clear ice, and it's a little tricky to get the ice part out. It is really a nice machine. I did find the ice to be on the smaller side and wanted to return it. But it really keeps my water cold. I use it in my waterbottle and I still have ice left after drinking it. So with all the great features...lights up automatically, constant ice replenishment, ice cold drinks... we decided the smaller ice was fine. I just prefer a bit bigger pieces for iced coffee.
