It's four stars because some of it is plastic. This unit is not all metal but it still functions and works really well. One important thing to note is that the handheld wand is activated by a manual lever behind the shower head. Right out of the box I was impressed with this Handheld shower head. I ordered the polished nickel and it is beautiful. The design is sleek and minimal, which is what I was going for.
