I should have looked more thoroughly at the specs before purchasing. The adjustable pole is not long. It limits the kind of chair you can use. If you have a beautician style chair with a solid base, you won’t be able to roll the wheels under. You need a chair that has legs or wheels that allow a gap big enough for the base of the dryer to fit under. These are really nice shelves. Because they're custom and not 'off the shelf' you can maximize the shelf size and not lose as much space as you do with set sized shelves.
