Awesome value for a complete set, though disappointing that Grohe is using plastic components. If you’re expecting an all metal product, this may not be for you. Starting with the simplicity of a square or rectangle, the collection utilizes geometric forms to their full potential.

We have had this installed for less than a year and despite only probably using it 20-40 times, the plastic extension in the valve has ground down and now I am needing to replace it as it's stuck on one setting. If Grohe offered brass extensions I would buy one but unfortunately you are stuck with a plastic one. Plan to need to learn to replace it yourself (not too difficult but a pain if you have any caulking around the baseplate as it has to be scraped and redone each time. On my next build, if I use Grohe products, I'll ask to see the parts first to avoid plastic on metal like is the weak link here.. Gringodemsu. Vancouver, WA. Mon Dec 26 2022

Beautiful shower but read reviews and watch videos! The shower works perfectly if installed correctly but there are a few steps vital to the installation that are not mentioned. 1. The fittings that go into the plumbing are European and not NPT. They are knuckled and very loose once screwed in. If you try to use plumbers tape the knuckled ridges will tear it off.. You therefore must use pipe sealant (all the reviews describing this step have been taken off, i assume the sites didn't want to promote brands of pipe sealant so I won't include any in the review) or it will leak. Once the sealant is applied you have a few minutes to adjust it properly but it will not move anymore once dry so be careful! 2. The temperature can be adjusted by removing the cap over the thermostat and unscrewing the module. There is a plastic ring with small increments that let you increase the temperature and reposition the module, otherwise you will have a cold shower even if you turn it past the safety zone..
