Wow I’m impressed it’s heavy and made out of good sturdy wood. The image was kind of deceiving. I always read the specs and description, but I was paying attention to the image and it shows two floating shelves. It only comes with 1 I didn’t realize it was this big. It’s more like a mental to put above your fireplace than a regular floating shelf. I was a little disappointed, but don’t get me wrong. I really like the shelf. I took a picture right next to my fireplace mantle the colors match, which is impressive I haven’t hung it up as you can see the screws are kinda small not sure if it’ll hold up this piece it’s heavy It didn’t come with supporting bars underneath . The Instructions state that you’re supposed to remove the wooden panel that’s inside the shelf scre that to the wall then mount the shelf, so now I need to get me an electric drill or find a handyman. Great shelf! Easy to install right into studs. One of the L-brackets was clearly less that 90° angle but it didn't actually make a difference. I hung it and everything is level. Color was accurate too. One thing to note: is is not a solid piece of wood. The one I received appears to be at least two pieces glued together. But, it was a pretty seamless joining so I am happy..
