This is one of the best toasters I've ever used. There is nothing wrong with this except 1 thing. Rita, the tray on mine is pushed or pulled inside on the bottom, opposite side of the buttons. Unfortunately, it was not made in the USA. I wonder if it can be rotated, for the purpose of melting butter, or other dairy safely at a horizontal position… as of October 11, I want to edit this with a picture to show what happens when trying to make grilled cheese in here. The reason I did that is because I do not currently have a convection oven. I tried it once as an experiment and will never do that again because it caused that dent and charring. It almost broke the lock From staying down before food heats up. I have cooked thin tacos in here before along with bagels and Other pastries, all fine. Do not try to make grilled cheese with it. The best bread pans, if you know how to take care of them. Even though nonstick you should still grease and flour your bread pans. It keeps the coating conditioned and keeps it from discoloring. Any true baker knows this. I would definitely buy these time and time again. I am going to include a picture of both my new pan and my pan that has been used several times as you will see there is no discoloration as people have complained about. I grease and flour my pans. Nice pair of oven mitts. Good value for the price. The mitts have silicone on the palms, which gives extra protection against heat. They are thick enough to protect your hands from heat, but not so thick that you will lose your grip on heavy items. I bought the orange color and they are just as pictured.
