Absolutely beautiful, black, solid wood table! It is not engineered wood or cheap MDF. Very easy to assemble. Just add the four legs. One of the two support pieces that go on the underside of the table came unattached during shipping but it was easy to rescrew it back into place. For the most part this is a very study table and easy to assemble. I gave it four stars because the table was damaged upon delivery. Customer service at Wayfair gave us several options to remedy the situation and were great to work with, but in the end we settled for a 20% discount which was enough to repair the table.
