The matte tile itself is just what we wanted- it was a little warmer white than some of the stark white penny tile samples we looked at. The only issue we had was the delivery of the tile. We originally were given a delivery date a week out from when we placed the order and then we kept receiving updates that the delivery date was pushed weeks out. It’s good stuff! Love the color and finish, and as mosaic tiles go, it’s a very easy install. Being porcelain, it’s very hard and durable, and perhaps best of all, you can use an orbital sander to remove thinset and grout without damaging the finish—huge time saver! Just one critical thing to know in advance: these are spaced at 4mm, and you’ll have to search hard to find 4mm spacers. 3/16 is too wide, 1/8 is too skinny. On the upside, if things start looking a wee bit out of alignment, you can use those 3/16 and 1/8 spacers (very selectively) to cheat a little, with no discernible impact to aesthetics.. Ryan.
