This rug worked out perfectly for us. We needed one to tie together shades of tan, white, gray and navy blue that are present in different parts of the room. (Sounds weird I know, but they work!) At the recommendation of another reviewer we did get a rug pad for underneath as it is soft but not as plush as the one we had previously that we had to replace due to wear and it is in a spot where our dogs love to lay. This tan faux sheepskin for area is gorgeous. It is a very very light cream color, a little darker than ivory with gold accent. I am using it as an accent rug in a small dining area in the kitchen. It also mixes well with silver toned hardware.
