This TV console seems sturdy, has good storage, and is the perfect size. Yes, it is a laminate over particle board, but the finish looks nice. I think it’s a good value for the price. It does take a little while to assemble, but it wasn’t bad. My advice to anyone else is to make sure you put a level on it and use your leg adjusters to get it perfectly level before you put the back on to make sure you build it square. That may be why I saw some reviewers saying they couldn’t get the doors quite right. I will say the handles that came with the unit were not a good color. They were practically orange, not champagne bronze-ish like I thought from the photos on the website. I needed a TV stand that was simple to put together and actually looked nice. This one fit that bill. The instructions were very specific and showed you each step with diagrams. This took me about 2 hours, I was in no hurry to get it put together. You could do it in an hour if you needed to. It all fit together perfectly.
