It's not great quality, and it's a bit sketchy the way the slats lay on the center thing, but it works for our 9 year old son! I'm a small person and I am careful not to get on the bed with too much force. I wouldn't use it for a boy any younger who may try to jump on or off of it... Emily. Columbia, MD. Thu May 21 2026

Arrived super quick. Box was a little mangled but thankfully, the contents are well packed so no damage. It took two of us less than an hour to put it together and it looks nice. Admittedly, I was a little disappointed in the headboard and footboard (the inserts). Very deceiving description to call this bed ‘solid wood’ since 80 of the headboard and footboard are quite thin and flimsy (think thick cardboard). Only time will tell how they hold up.. Decent bed. Feels sturdy enough I was able to put it together alone, but it took about 8 hours going at a slow pace with lots of breaks. Get a kneepad if you have one. Be sure to look at both sides of each piece immediately after you attach to make sure you have the right orientation. I found a backwards one twice and it was a considerable setback. The directions could be confusing at times, generally just sitting and staring at the parts for a bit or looking ahead to next few steps would made it clear. I'm giving it a 4 star review be use a received 3 unlabeled parts, luckily I could narrow them down. And because the pull out shelfs cannot be wheeled out , at least if you have carpet, and are a very tight fit. Photo attached shows why. The bottom of the shelf sides touches the ground and makes the wheels pointless. I will likely use them in the closet instead. The storage drawers are a little awkward to use. I struggle get the hook lined up and set in the slot to close them. Do not recommend if you have a bad back or mobility issues. The light is great if you like a bit of a night light.. M. Madison, WI.
