This is a shower door bottom seal that is constructed of clear vinyl and comes in 36 in. lengths. Designed to attach to the bottom of frameless, swinging shower doors without the need of adhesives. Cutting down to size will be necessary if your shower door measures less than 36 in. in width. No tools are required to install this shower door bottom. Tempered glass is a type of safety glass processed by controlled thermal or chemical treatments to increase its strength compared with normal glass. Tempering puts the outer surfaces into compression and the interior into tension. Such stresses cause the glass, when broken, to crumble into small granular chunks instead of splintering into jagged shards as plate glass (annealed glass) does. The granular chunks are less likely to cause injury.
