I bought this gorgeous cage for our budgie. It’s perfect for a small bird. I don’t recommend for the larger and stronger birds because the wires are thin and could be possibly bent. I also would not recommend it for finches due to the bar spacing and the possibility of their tiny heads getting stuck. As another reviewer stated, it’s not a shiny silver, but great. It does appear silver in the light. I love the transparent base that allows me to see my bird even when he’s in the bottom. This cage would be large enough for a pair of parakeets. I purchased the black stand elsewhere because Wayfair only had it in white. It’s easy to assemble with no tools needed. The only improvement I can see is for the manufacturer to as another door on a lower level. The one door is up high. It’s a great cage for the money and looks absolutely gorgeous in our new home.. My bird loves her new cage. I’m still adding toys and rearranging, there’s lots of room and I want her to have fun navigating various perches and from one side to the other. The only thing that I would change are the food and water cups that are designed for the food doors. on this cage. The cups are much taller and more narrow than standard bird feeder cups. My bird loves this tall cage fir hes swing and high areas. I like it because its light and i can hold it and walk through doors and set in shower stall for easy clean up. I do buy a new cage once a year due to cleaning the coating wears off. I wouldnt recommend this cage for larger birds. This is perfect for the Senegal, Sunfire maybe Quakers but if you have an animal thats prone to bitting and bending bars or trying to get out this may not be the cage for you. The metal is easily bendable however my parrot uses it like a safe place, shelter and hes outside of it just as much as hes inside of it.
