A Fireplace for People Who Do Not Have a FireplaceMost electric fireplaces ask you to pick a side. You get one window, one good angle, and if you sit anywhere else you are looking at a black box. This one wraps glass around three sides. The flames stay in view when you turn your chair, walk past it with an armful of laundry, or stretch out on the other end of the sofa. It sounds like a small thing, until you have lived with the alternative. It is also genuinely small. About 19 inches tall, light enough to carry, so it lives by the sofa in January and moves to the guest room in December. No hearth, no corner to reserve, no permission needed from a landlord. The flame is LED. Cycle through several colors, set the brightness to suit the moment: a faint glow behind a film, brighter when people come over. Because the light runs cool, the atmosphere costs almost nothing to leave on.Heat is the other half, and it is optional. 750W takes the chill off a bedroom on a mild night. 1500W handles the living room when it turns properly cold. Leave the heat off entirely and you still get the fire. The body is steel and glass with a smooth lacquered finish, black, and it wipes down in seconds. It sits flat on the floor, plugs into a standard 120V outlet, and asks for no chimney, no flue and no installation.

Afterglow outdoor heater: Crafted from TerraFab, a patented composite material that surpasses iron and wood in both strength and durability. Generating 41,000 BTUs of heat, it creates a cozy, inviting atmosphere perfect for outdoor gatherings—ensuring everyone stays warm and engaged. When not in use, the included weatherproof cover safeguards your heater. Versatile by design, its removable heat reflector offers two experiences: detach it in summer to enjoy ambient flames alone, or reattach it in spring or fall to combine radiant warmth with mesmerizing firelight.

Looks great and start to work good, I hope heated good in winter season. I hope heet comes out softer. Oleg. Skokie, IL. Mon Oct 26 2026

Designed for natural gas or liquid propane, it heats spaces up to 1,100 sq. ft. without external venting. The wireless remote features manual and thermostat modes for convenient flame and temperature control. Nine hand-painted ceramic birch logs create a natural wood-fire look, while the built-in ODS sensor and pulse ignition add convenience and safety protection. The manual does not tell where the logs need to be placed. The flame height cannot be adjusted by the remote. Although they are described as ventless the manual says event is required. This electric fireplace stove brings a cozy, traditional feel to your space without the hassle of a real fire. The brick-lined firebox and artificial logs create a realistic flickering flame effect that you can enjoy with or without the heat. It's built with infrared technology to warm up to 1,000 square feet, helping to maintain natural humidity for a more comfortable environment. The adjustable thermostat and flame settings let you customize the ambiance and temperature to suit your needs. Plus, the compact freestanding design allows you to move this heater from room to room.

I dont know about you but choosing a faux fireplace has been kind of an ordeal for me. I have a small space so I wanted something compact but I also really wanted realistic looking logs! Theres not a lot out there in this category for freestanding units. I eventually settled on this Duraflame fireplace. Its quite charming and delivers on its promises. As some reviews have noted, the legs arent metal but they are a very rigid form of plastic thats used for appliances that require durability, some car parts for example. Theyre well-made and dont feel as if the arent up to the task. I did find the instructions for the remote control and on-unit options to be a bit mystifying but eventually figured it out. The heat option on the remote control just toggles the heat on and off. Changing the temperature is done by pressing the touchscreen on the device itself. Thats not too big of a deal since most people will have a preferred temperature that wont often need adjusting. Also, the door to the unit must be opened to see the settings to choose a timer or temperature setting. I honestly rather like that since having these settings in view would diminish the realistic look of the fireplace. The sound of the fan that blows heat is noticeable but not overly so. I bought one of the crackling fire audio devices sold on Wayfair but that hasnt arrived yet. I think that it will add to the ambiance! I chose the cream color and it is a very nice neutral shade though now that its in place I sort of wish that I had been a bit more adventurous and gone with blue or red. But overall I am very pleased with my choice.. Pl. Petaluma, CA. Tue Nov 03 2026

Realistic flames with 4 brightness levels create a cozy ambiance, with independent flame and heat control for year-round use. Glass-front cabinets, tiered storage, and adjustable shelves keep media devices and everyday essentials organized. Perfect for living rooms, bedrooms, and home theaters.

This is a truly lovely TV console. I had someone else put it together, and it seemed pretty straightforward. The result is beautiful. The faux fireplace is wonderful and so easy to set up. It puts out a nice amount of heat which I appreciate as my living room always stays cool. I like the glass doors for storing some of my ceramics. Looks much more expensive than it is. Great price and fast shipping.. Nancy. Las Vegas, NV. Fri Nov 06 2026

Just the perfect size for the fireplace wall that we are building. Fake wood inside makes it more realistic than crystals. The only one that I dont like is that its a little noisy. I cant handle this noise for a long time. Still keep it since its visually what I am looking for but if you want a fireplace no noise its not this one.. Oksana. Panama City Beach, FL.
