Overall a very nice item. They are lighter weight than I expected, but Im not putting too much stress on them with the sheer curtains and lightweight valence, so that shouldnt be an issue. I really like the mounts which allow sliding them over the screws before final tightening. The finish is a bit cheap looking to me however I dont have a lot of experience with gold finishes (prior rods Ive used have been brushed nickel), so maybe thats just me. This house of Hampton is an industry leader in quality and design. They offer the non-telescoping (non-adjustable) rod because you deserve the best. No longer will tabs or rings get caught on the junction of rods making traversing much easier. Its decorative finials are hand-plated with fashion-forward colors.

I am very happy with this curtain rod. It is really pretty, nice quality, and it was easy to install.
