It's four stars because some of it is plastic. This unit is not all metal but it still functions and works really well. One important thing to note is that the handheld wand is activated by a manual lever behind the shower head. Incredible packaging, everything you need in the box EXCEPT a masonry bit to drill two holes through your tile to mount the lower portion of the rod assembly. The shower system works as advertised with an easy-to-reach accessible control valve to direct the water flow to either the overhead rain head or the handheld head. We had a previous system that had that feature, but the control valve was located way up by the shower head making it difficult for my elderly father to reach.
