Look for screws outside of the interior box as our box was open and the screw package fell out as we opened the bigger box but did find it eventually while clearing up the packaging! I really love this piece as it is better than the 1st 'craft center' (that is how I use it) I purchased a few years ago which was ruined by a flood in our basement (no fault of Wayfair of course)! It has more style with the sliding drawers, costs a lot less, but did not come with a separate file cabinet like the 1st, but do not need it as this one has 2 file drawers. And the best part, is it has a electric recepitcal on the top of the desk for a lamp or another appliance if needed. And it fits in my ensuite walk-in closet (which is my little craft room). I am very happy with this desk. I wanted something that wasn't too large but still offered shelves and storage for my parrots' toys and other supplies. The desktop is also large enough to hold my paper roll dispenser, which was important to me. The two drawers are surprisingly roomy and are perfect for storing smaller items like a tape measure, scissors etc. I also liked that you could choose between installing hooks or the fabric side pocket. I went with the pocket, but it's nice to have the option. Assembly was straight forward, and all of the hardware bags and parts were clearly labeled, making the process easy to follow. While it's marketed as a desk, it's versatile enough for many other uses. As you can see, it works great as a parrot station with plenty of storage while still maintaining a small footprint. Overall, and for the price, I’d say this desk is ideal. I live in a 700 sq ft space and needed something for my new office corner as I’d started working remotely. I was a bit surprised at the material used for the drawers—they’re made of fabric with plastic handles—but that’s on me for not reading the product description more closely. However, I did appreciate that the drawers were easy to construct in that they are actually collapsible containers. Overall construction was very easy and took maybe an hour solo. I think the only caveat I have is that the elevated platform portion made it difficult to install a C-clamp dual monitor stand.
