Haven’t been able to hang this yet as our condo building’s designated electrician has had a busy month. It’s a little whiter than I thought (appears more of a soft off-white in pictures but is more paper white in person), though this may change with a warmer white light bulb. It’s being hung tomorrow. I’m so excited! I am putting it in my hallway because it has really high ceilings and it’s the perfect spot for it. I love the simplicity of this light fixture. It lends itself to any design style. You can change your color scheme and paint and it will still look great. You can change your design style, for example, I change my relaxed coastal style to a mid century modern vibe and it works perfectly. I challenge someone to find a style that it doesn’t work with lol. Good luck with that. All in all, I’m very happy with this light fixture. I highly recommend it. As soon as it’s hung, I will update my review with beautiful pictures of it hanging in my hallway. The light was a lot bigger than i thought it would be and that’s great! I was worried it was going to be too small but no way! It’s substantial. Please note that installation can be a challenge. And sometimes the installation is more than the cost of the light. It’s important to know that so you’re not shocked when they tell you how much to hang it. Plus the electricians around here are flakes. Oh I’m in love with this light fixture. I cannot wait to get it hung but I’m having a bit of trouble getting an electrician that is reliable and doesn’t cancel appointments four times five minutes before he was supposed to be here. It’s getting expensive hanging all of these gorgeous light fixtures so be sure you understand that the installation is sometimes more than the light fixture costs. If you live in a rural area, it’s extra difficult to get someone out. I’ve run into all of that. I promise to update my review with beautiful pictures once it’s hung. I open the box to gaze at it several times a day lol. It’s perfect for my game room where we play cards and poker. It’s just the charm the room needs. I know I will love it as I’ve purchased another Sputnik light fixture from the same manufacturer so I know it’s a quality piece. And this modern, charming, whimsical light will never go out of style. It’s hung! I finally found the bulbs! I’m going to put in the bulbs when they arrive and then cover with the frosted globes. I will update pictures as soon as my bulbs come in.
