Very nice lamp! Even better than I envisioned. When you receive the lamp it comes apart, not too difficult the put the pieces together. When tying the wire Simply inside the lamp be sure to have them all touching the main wire to assure the lampshade have the light up with the same brightness. Love this light! We were looking for something with a bit of color! We did not want a huge dining light that would block our view for a recent remodel.
