I really love the way this looks once assembled. Assembly was fairly straightforward just a bit tedious. The instructions could be better in particular the illustrations. The only negative I have is that mine have a gap between them. I adjusted the foot pegs on each to make sure they were balance and that is what I got. This is a GREAT a book shelf! Very contemporary, light it appearance, and easy to put together. You MUST secure to the wall, but also it’s best to use 5” wall brackets secure parts of the shelf to prevent bowing. We secured all areas below the vertical planks and all our shelves are like stone, no movement or bowing. Love the look of the bookshelf. It looks very modern and has lots of space to hold books and trinkets. It was not hard to put together. Took about an hour. The only thing I didn’t like a lot was the color. It’s a lot darker wood than the photos. And very brown. All my other “walnut” pieces in the room are lighter with a more golden tone and this doesn’t match anything. I may do a glaze over it eventually. Wish I would have bought the lighter one. Oh well.
