The assembly instructions don’t tell you how to insert the gold pieces, so I’m sharing the trick here. You won’t be able to push in the gold pieces with your fingers and the holes will seem too small, but the pieces will fit - you have to use a mallet. Tilt the piece and use your mallet to gently tap in one edge of the piece so that it lodges crookedly in the hole. This dining table and chairs took about 45min to out together. Some of the screws were harder to get in. We actually ended up using our drill to put the screws in quicker. The chairs are soft and easy to wipe down. I think they are great for seating comfortably for a long period of time. The instructions were pretty easy to follow and the box came without damage.
