Solid construction. Not quite like the picture. Screws are black, not gold, roof panel does not look exactly like picture either. Put together by myself in about 13 hours, from unboxing to last screw, not extremely handy but a decent DIY'er. I did needed about 10 minutes of help from my wife to align the brace supports from the posts to the frame. The most annoying part was taking all the plastic off the metal roof panels (Tip: Don't try to do this if the panels are too cold or too hot, you will be tearing off small pieces). Out of all the material I would say the roofing panels look good but are very thin, the framing structure is quite sturdy to brace the panels but wouldn't want much snow to build up on it, as I can see the panels sagging under the weight.. I’ve had this for around 3 weeks now. The only reason I am giving it four stars instead of five is I thought the frame was going to be black instead of brown in color so I don’t think the brown looks good with the gray top but overall it is very sturdy and well may but it was hard for one person to put together so it took three people to put it together and about three hours I would say. It works great for any time of year and we have really enjoyed it this summer so far because it has kept the bugs out and and have used the fire pit under it and been able to sit out in the evenings and enjoy it.. We are very happy with this gazebo. The wood quality is very good, and the finished product looks beautiful and sturdy in our backyard. Assembly was easier than expected. Two people in the family were able to put it together without hiring outside workers. The instructions were clear, and the parts fit together well. I would recommend wearing gloves during assembly to help avoid scratches or small injuries, and having a ladder will definitely make the process easier. One thing I would suggest is adding an extra coat of wood stain or sealer if you want more protection. I did that for mine because I want it to last longer. Even without it, I think the wood feels durable, but if you live in a humid area or want extra long-term protection, adding a wood sealer is a good idea. One of my favorite things is simply sitting inside the gazebo in the early morning or late afternoon. The shade, fresh air, and peaceful atmosphere make it a perfect place to relax and unwind. Attractive and so-far sturdy. Only issue I have is with the assembly instructions specifically regarding the curtains and bug screens. They guide us not clear regarding proper placement of them. I am certain they are not installed properly but there is only so many times that I will put up and take down the panels before I surrender. The illustrations do not jive with the instructions.
