Ordered the 10 x 10. The top is actually 10 x 10, but the inside is less so please read measurements. Took my husband & a friend pretty much all day to put together. A lot of pieces didn't actually line up with the holes for the screws. It looks good. We will have to see how it holds up in the weather. I bought this somewhat hesitantly due to Wayfair's return policy, the amount and weight of all pieces, and the careful packing into 3 boxes. That would be hell to return, especially at my own cost. Nonetheless, I didn't return it and it is now full constructed. First of all, I assembled this over the course of about 5 days, mostly by myself (which I understand is not advised by the instructions). I needed my neighbor's assistance and two kids to help me hoist the vented top portion of the structure onto the four posts. Second, the instructions are clear about 75% of the time. There was a lot of trial and error with a few items, which I will list here: 1. Step 6 calls for D1, but does not clearly show which side is up. Flat side should be down. 2. In step 11, the aforementioned hoisting of the vented portion, it really doesn't appear that those 4 pieces of D1 will hold such a heavy piece, but it does. 3. In step 18, it calls for sliding the roof pieces into grooves without securing them, which happens in step 19. I HIGHLY ADVISE TO INSTALL THE ROOF PIECES ON ONE SIDE ONLY AND SECURE EACH IMMEDIATELY. As a matter of safety, these pieces are extremely sharp and some slid out of their grooves, crashing to the ground. Anyone standing below the unsecured roof pieces could've been severely cut/injured if one slid off. This happened a few times (slid off, not injuries) and it was terrifying. Again, having others assist here to hold them in place while someone secured them is important. Wind could also cause these to fall. 4. Some of the same pieces are slightly different in length and this may cause a few issues with some pieces fitting (for example, I had trouble with the Q pieces that secure the roof pieces). 5. Step 22 was very unclear to me. There are 2 tracks for the bug screen and the curtain, but which one goes on which track is up to you. I used the outside track for the curtain. Also, when installing each, ensure the zipper portions meet in the middle of each side (not at the posts). Don't install H9 until you have all of the curtains properly installed, or you'll have to remove those pieces to make adjustments. 6. Finally, also in step 22, H7, H8 and H10 are to be installed and it is not clear how or to what. 3 sets of each go on each post and attach to the eyelets of the bug screen and curtain to keep those from blowing. Photos of this have been added here. All in all, we like this structure but the fabrication of the materials is far from exact and the instructions need to be improved.. Tim. Downey, CA. Assembly took four people about 6–8 hours to complete, so plan accordingly. One helpful tip: each roof panel has a thin protective plastic film that needs to be removed before installation. I believe it’s there to prevent scratches during shipping. We found that letting the panels sit in the sun for a bit made the film much easier to peel off. There were three people putting up the gazebo and it took about five hours. It did fit together very well and instructions are ok. There is a mistake in the manual. There are 8 G1 parts, not 4 which it says on page 10. Also the picture of G1 on page 6 and 10 is incorrect. There are 2 pictures of G1 on page 10 and the other picture is correct. I put the curtains on and we didn’t quite understand how the Velcro tabs should go so that added time. After a few days I took the curtains down as I don’t think we will ever close them. Takes two to build the initial frame but the rest can be finished by one. Took me 10 hours by myself. Roof panels are tricky but you can bend the slots they go into open a bit more to assist. Lastly, the anchor bolts supplied are insufficient. I upgraded to a 38 inch cement anchor for my unit. Too soon to comment on the durability during wind. I’m hopeful. This is a beautiful gazebo. The instructions are in pictures so if you need words for direction you are out of luck. It took my husband and I a total of 24 hours to put it together and he is a mechanic. The total time was partially because of our unusual placement in which the gazebo extends further than our patio space. Also, we secured the front posts in an unconventional manner by placing them in large pots which were then filled with heavy materials. There are what seems like millions of screws and other pieces. There were quite a few "disagreements" while assembling this item which was entertaining for the neighbors. We both agreed that if anyone ever asks us to help them build a gazebo we will politely decline. All parts were present but we made sure of this prior to starting the build. There were a few times that we could have used the help of another person when building the frame but stepladders helped immensely. Awesome 12x20 gazebo. The netting installation was a little confusing at first, but we were able to figure it out. Assembly took father and son approximately 6–7 hours, including breaks, which honestly wasn’t too bad for the size. It would be great if the manufacturer included clearer information about ordering replacement parts in the instructions. So far, the gazebo has held up very well through rain and high winds and feels sturdy once assembled. Assembly you will need 3 people to help lift the frame, the rest of the time I was able to do everything by myself, the directions are clear and easy to follow, just don’t assume you know what’s next and put in all the screws, it all turned out looking amazing and I recommend using some magnetic hooks for lighting and hiding wires. This gazebo perfectly complements my garden entertainment area. I managed to assemble it myself in just two days, thanks to the easy-to-follow instructions. Although some pages took a bit longer to decipher, the overall process was straightforward. The finish is incredibly durable, and nothing seemed to get scratched during shipping or while assembling it. The bronze brown color adds a beautiful touch to my garden. There are hooks on the top center for hanging a fan or lighting. I feel it’s very sturdy and will withstand the wind where I live. My only complaint is that it appears shorter than expected.
