High quality gate- but your description dimensions are wrong so I had to leave the wheels off to get it to fit by less than an inch. Please correct this. Gate measures 84.5 inch high. The wheel add another 3 inches making it too large. There is a gauge in one of the crossbars at the top. Not a big deal but it did not happen in shipping. See photos. Overall fits my needs. Send me a gift card for the issues.. Robert. Key Largo, FL. Mon Sep 11 2023

A metal pet gate provides a secure and flexible solution for creating safe spaces throughout your home. Designed with a pressure-mounted frame, this adjustable cat gate fits openings from 21" to 34" wide and extends in height from 75" to 98". The narrow bar spacing helps keep curious cats safely contained, while the walk-through door allows convenient access for people. Its lightweight plastic accents and locking mechanism add everyday functionality. Plus, we love that this tall pet gate helps create a comfortable environment for pets and their families.

This is likely not what many people are using this skate for, but were doing it to help socialize our wonderful new dog with my two cats, one of them is not very dog savvy. When we tried to do this with a normal baby gate, she kept trying to launch herself over it so of course, he wanted to chase her. This was the most affordable option that I could find for something floor to ceiling that would allow them to become more familiar without the potential danger that an unexpected interaction could have caused. Ive been very happy with it. The socialization is going great, and there is no way that my cat can jump over this. Its also sturdier than I expected as the pup still likes to paw at it from time to time, with no issues so far. Its very easy to open and close. This is a great affordable option!. Katherine. Is your furry four-legged friend causing chaos around the house while you’re out? Keep them confined to one room with this must-have pet gate! Crafted from manufactured wood, it features four panels with hinges so it can easily fold up for a simple storage solution when not in use. Plus, it has two support legs so it can stand freely without damaging your walls. And with neutral coloring, it won’t clash with your current color palette.

Attractive and Durable, but Needs Securing I've used this gate since December 2023, and it has held up well. It's attractive, heavy, and true to size, and I really appreciate the height. The included support feet are a nice option, although I don't use them. My main complaint is that my dogs can push the gate to the side unless I secure it with carabiners. With that workaround, it serves its purpose. Overall, I'm happy with its appearance and durability, and I prefer it to a typical utilitarian-looking pet gate.. Sims Family Reviews. Kansas. This fireplace fence comes with 5 pieces, which provides a wide - range of protection around your fireplace.

Well made and very easy set up.. James. Rutherford, NJ. Wed Sep 16 2026

Initial thought was the solid construction. Guess I expected it to be a bit flimsy or wobbly but was very impressed. 2nd impression was of the ease of putting it together & installing it. Went up quickly & smoothly. I would have liked the parts to be marked & instructions a bit clearer but visually, the parts answered any questions I had. It's a basic set up in that regard. We have multiple cats & this is working perfectly. No more zippered screen doors with Velcro periodically replaced from broken zippers. Only issue I have now is wondering why I didn't do this sooner.. Thomas. Whitewater, WI. Wed Oct 07 2026

It's three cheers for playful days with the Toddleroo by North States Extra-Wide Wire Mesh Wood Gate, specially designed for wide openings. With quick set up, the gate pressure mounts easily and securely without the use of hardware. Simply position and lock in place. The sturdy wood frame of this gate is made from American sustainable hardwood making it extremely durable. This wood comes from USA sustainable forests which are carefully managed so that trees are replaced with seedlings as they mature and fall. These efforts help to preserve the natural environment in which we live. The sturdy frame on this safety gate surrounds rigid vinyl-coated wire mesh panels which adjust to fit openings 29.5 to 50 inches wide and is an extra-tall 31 inches high.

With a super-tall 74-inch height, this gate effectively keeps cats and large dogs from jumping over, while the narrow 1.37-inch bar spacing keeps small pets from squeezing through. Designed for everyday ease, it features one-handed operation and swings open 90 degrees in either direction—and closes automatically when opened at an angle of less than 90 degrees. Installation is quick and simple, with dual mounting holes for extra stability, and it fits door frames up to 96.5 inches high. Wall protectors prevent damage to your walls, and the adjustable width (30.3–38.2 inches/30.3-47.2 inches) ensures a snug, custom fit for your doorway. This versatile pet gate is perfect for doorways, stairways, and more—keeping your pets safely contained wherever you need them.

I do love the design of this gate. It’s so tall that my kitties can’t go over, around, through, or under. I even like the way it opens to let me go through, without having to negotiate a bottom rail to trip on. It locks securely and was easily assembled and carefully packed. It’s attractive and exceptionally useful. My only concerns: My doorway was not true. It apparently is a few millimeters wider near the top than bottom, so the center doesn’t meet the same way in the top as bottom. This is not the fault of the gate, so I did not deduct a star. My other concern is that there’s a lot of plastic parts. I wish all the components were made of metal. However, since I had no problem with the metal parts during the month I’ve used it, no deducted star there, either.. Janice. Durant, OK. Wed Jun 24 2026

The Cardinal Gates Step Over Pet Gate is the perfect solution for small pet containment. This freestanding gate has bar spacing's of 2.25” and is designed for small breeds, non-jumpers, and puppies. At 20" tall, this gate is the perfect height for you to step over, yet keeps your pet contained. It is adjustable and able to close off openings from 28" to 51.75”. Multiple 22” extension panels can be added to increase the maximum width of this gate (model SGX, sold separately). It features solid wood construction and is easy to set up with minimal assembly necessary. The included rubber-bottomed feet protect your floors while adding stability. This gate is intended for indoor use only and all necessary assembly hardware is included in the box, no wall mounting necessary. Available in Natural, Walnut, and White.

READ ME! I was a little stumped by the assembly of this gate, but once I figured it out (with NO help to the included instructions or video), I really do like it. Upon receipt when you unscrew the two main pieces of the gate, keep an eye out for 4 small square nuts that may fall out of the grooves. After you determine the size needed, these nuts are essential to hold the two gate pieces together. The video and instructions make it seem like you just simply fasten the screws into the grooves on top and bottom. Well, you do, but if you screw only into the grooves - without the square nuts - there is nothing to catch the screws, and thus, you will be unsuccessful. If you are luckier than me, and your nuts don't fall out of the grooves and go missing for a few days, you need to know that the nuts can be moved back and forth inside the grooves depending on the size you want. Use these nuts to secure your screws, and you'll be golden! I have two small dogs (up to 9 pounds each), and I chose this gate because it is adjustable to any size you wish, and it has feet (rather than needing to be secured to a wall). The feet can be placed along the bottom at any desired location (or you can opt not to use them at all). I chose to screw them in the bottom (but you don't need to) because it gave my gate added stability, and seeing how I plan to move the gate to other locations, this way I don't have to worry about the legs falling off during the moves. The feet have rubber pads at the bottom which help them stay in place on the hard floor. If you're looking for a gate where you wish to increase/decrease the size often to let dogs through, this isn't the gate for you as that would be a bit cumbersome with screwing/unscrewing; however, if you want a gate that sits at a certain size and can be stepped over or easily moved, this is perfect! I am 5'4" and can easily step over the gate, but my small dogs cannot get over/through it. I hope this review helps!. Theresa. Sun Prairie, WI. Fri Dec 06 2019
