Our sail shade poles for ground are precision machined from solid steel. They are 2.5 inches in diameter and 1.8mm thick. They consist of three connecting sections and total 10 feet in length. The fixed base is equipped with four M16 expansion screws to provide a strong grip and ensure that the shade sail pole is firmly installed, providing you with reliable protection from the sun on hot summer days.

I’ve tried other ways of anchoring outdoor string light and this is by far the best looking. They recommend stringing lighter weight string lights which does help a lot. Was looking for something to help protect my kitchen vegetable garden from the Florida sun, I have vegetables that require full sun, but it’s just too much for them here. This worked out perfectly. I strung it up with some error, cord, and attached to some 4 x 4 posts. The post are 2 feet higher on one side to allow for a little more morning, sun and afternoon shade, and to help keep the cloth from dipping too low.
