I LOVE this bench! I love the look of it. I love the scroll details. It's sturdy and nicely made. I also loved that all the screws were exactly the same, and were already screwed into place in the pieces where you'd unscrew them to attach pieces together (this made assembly a breeze and I wish more furniture came this way!) When assembling, be sure NOT to tighten down any of the screws TIL THE VERY END. All the pieces fit together well, but one might jump to think oh the manufacturer didn't make it fit right when in reality it's as simple as tightening the screws at the END. So keep that in mind! There's only two small issues, why I knocked a star. One, is it came with scratching on the back part and that makes me a little sad. Hoping the finish stays on nice. The second is there was one part where the weld left a metal shard that's pokey, but it's not really in a place where you can feel it when sitting so that's good. On a different note, you can sit on it rather comfortably without a cushion, or you can get a cushion for it. ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!! Get this one from Fleur De Lis Living. It is less expensive than other ones listed on Wayfair from different vendors, and it is the exact same bench. After researching many benches I chose this one because it is Cast Aluminum which makes it more resistant to rusting. It is large, heavy and will hold up to 3 average sized adults. It will be sitting on our river and won't fall over in the wind. My husband and I (in our 70's) put it together in an hour. Nothing was missing from the box. You will want to use a real wrench though because the included one is too flimsy. The bench came quickly and was well-packaged. It's a pretty soft black with just a touch of bronzing. I was concerned it would come in real bronzy looking; it's not. I have nothing at all to complain about. We love it and can't wait for Spring and start putting it to good use. The bench once assembled is sturdy and attractive. However the screws for assembly in the seat were very hard to get in and tighten.
