Whether placed at the entrance to a garden path, over a walkway, or as a focal point in your yard, it creates a natural frame that draws the eye and elevates your landscape. Precision-cut components and snug-fitting parts ensure a strong, stable structure, while the smooth sanded finish gives it a clean, refined appearance. Perfect for supporting climbing vines, roses, or decorative lighting, the GA87 blends classic design with dependable durability.

The packaging and quality of the cedar is very good. Like Teal, of Pomona, NY stated in their review: it’s a box of wood and bag of hardware and some very simplistic instructions. As a prolific builder and DIYfer I used my experience in assembling the arch. Fortunately, I have a pneumatic brad nailer with galvanized brads which made short time in nailing the many pieces together. I did not follow the slat spacing suggestions from the directions, rather having read the reviews, I made my own jig spacers after careful measurements. Pros: Good quality cedar; Looks excellent when completed; Assembly is straight forward once you figure out the spacing; Left unfinished the cedar will gracefully weather Cons: Directions need embellishment; Not for those wanting a quick assembly; Took over 6 hours to complete; Nails provided are not galvanized and should be of an outside product; Only 2 decorative wooden “arrows”---should be 4 for two on each side; Added longer and beefier exterior screws at the top/side joints for more strength. Offering a sophisticated design with a modern flair, this can stand alone or function as an anchor for vegetation to climb up its sides. You will enjoy the classic appeal of this in your yard or garden for many years to come!

Overall it seems well made and easy to assemble. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. The one question about when the arbor could be painted was answered by the company very promptly. The only negative was that two of the 4" lag screws used to attach the top of the arbor to the sides sheared in half while being "manually" screwed in with a hex screw driver. Had to get replacement bolts to finish putting it together. Strongly suggest you get some extra hardware and return to the store if not needed. Very happy so far ( 2days) with the final product.. It is definitely darker than the photos show, more of a very dark gray. I assume it will fade some to a lighter gray, similar to what is show. FYI - you will need to pre-purchase a 4x10, to cut in half. These will be used to place in holes dug roughly 36 inches deep and set in concrete. Hopefully that saves someone else a trip. Otherwise a good buy.. Andrew. Bedford, TX. Wed Aug 05 2026

Offering a sophisticated design with a modern flair, this can stand alone or function as an anchor for vegetation to climb up its sides. You will enjoy the classic appeal of this in your yard or garden for many years to come!

This arbor is exactly what I wanted for my native honeysuckle: solid wood, salt treated, not flimsy. Rounded edges, anchors included. I have very sandy soil where I put this arbor so I had to use extra anchors: 4 foot rebar pounded almost 3 feet in, and I think that'll do unless we get some serious weather. It took me several hours to put together just from having to drill the holes for the top bars and the anchors, if they had been pre-drilled this would be 5 stars.. Teresa. Middleburg, VA. Very easy to assemble. You will need a helper to attach the arch to the posts. Only one minor issue. Where the bottom hinge attaches to the rail, two adjacent screws conflicted with one another. Remedied by using one shorter screw. Absolutely love this gated arbor and highly recommend it.. Roland. Honesdale, PA. Sun Sep 13 2026
