This is a great piece of outdoor working furniture. It is made from cedar and smells wonderful when unpacking and putting together. I may have to make it my new best friend and sit my porch rocker closer to it and enjoy the fragrance! I am happy with it. The color blends with my house color well right out of the box. Easy to put together but hard to get out of the box because of the foam filling, but the foam did the trick. No damages whatsoever. The outdoor potting bench is perfect. I bought it mainly to store my bonsai supplies and tools. They were making my bonsai gallery look cluttered. My son put it together so I can't comment on the difficulty in assembly, but it came out beautifully. I love how the feet are adjustable to ensure it's level. The potting bench, once put together, is quite nice…BUT. We had to buy different screws to connect the shelves with the hooks to the larger bench…the ones provided were approximately 1/2” too short. The bench is beautiful. I love Wayfair. Its the instructions that suck. Though the right side drawer if off a bit, but I will handle that. Seriously!! I have built so many things from Wayfair. When I started ordering furniture 2 years ago the instructions and how the screws and bolts were identified was awesome. Now they are all thrown in a bag together. Not marked, The instructions don't help identify them. Half the stuff that you MUST use is not in the instructions, you have to guess where to use it and how. Its ridiculous. This potting bench works perfectly for me. It fits well within the space and is quite sturdy. It took the assembler about 45 minutes to put it together on my back porch, where it is now. Originally, I was going to paint it black to match the trim on my home. However, the brownish/gray color actually kind of blends in. So I am leaving it and considering painting it after a couple of years to freshen it up, rather than right now when it's new. The little plastic sink unit is nice and easily comes out to fill and/or dump its contents. The drawer is nice for items you want near by but out of the weather. There is a pretty sturdy plastic cloth that fits on top to cover the items below and keep them dry. I would expect that it protects the wood, too. I am pleased with this purchase.. Dyanne.
