Before I say anything about this fan let me tell you to get a 4” junction box and not the standard 3.5” in most homes. Just save yourself the time and get ahead of that! The fan was easy to put up. After doing it I would only change one thing. I would take out the screws for the blades before getting the fan 15 feet up in the air. You’ll save your shoulders from the burn! The fan pushed a good amount of air and is super quiet! I also appreciate all of the extra parts for multiple installation scenarios. While I didn’t need them it was nice knowing they were there in case I did! The only downside was that the directions were skimpy but it was pretty self-explanatory.. Lisa. Tunnel Hill, GA. Wow, this was NOT easy to put together as a 5'3" female. The tools provided were brutal and painful to use with the torque needed to tighten these nuts and bolts. Thank God for my meticulous, perfectionist tenant who lives next door... Not only man man hands, height, nice tools and a level! Without him I'm unsure how this would have turned out. This thing is AWESOME- but I wouldn't suggest a woman do this souly on her own and I'm a gal who does tile, paint, concrete, landscaping, and dry wall without complaints. I love a DIY but this was a challenge all in itself. Buy some boiled linseed oil for this thing, I'm afraid if I don't this won't last but a couple of years.. Danielle. West Valley, UT.
