This is a beautiful desk. Looks just as good as it does in the picture. The chairs in my photo are also from Wayfair. I recommend paying the money to assemble. It took the two-person crew three hours. But it looks perfect. However, long after the assembly crew left, I realized the light on the front of the desk does not work. I like the desk however the package was large & extremely heavy. I couldn’t understand why the delivery people had only 1 guy deliver it. When I saw that I knew there’s was a chance of it being damaged. Once I started to assemble the desk, I noticed the first crack upon opening the box. I didn’t notice the other crack in the tabletop board until 75% completely assembled. I called wayfair to report the damages & they were considerate & offered to send out replacement parts instead of me having to disassemble the entire desk, which I appreciated. Waiting on parts now.
