Not sure if we hooked it up wrong, but the base lights only come on from one end of our sofa controls. They also are not blue, but green, which I didn't care for, but it still lights up when the lights are all off and we want some light without turning on overhead lights. It’s comfortable, has good lumbar support and not too much head support which my neck likes. As others have said, it won’t stay fully back in the reclined position which is ok. I just watch tv in it. It’s not a huge recliner which is good. There are, however some marks on one arm that should not be there. It’d be a huge problem to return it.
