Truly a beautiful, comfy couch. We have had it for a little over a year now and love it. It’s very cushy and has great depth. It’s also super easy to clean—most spills/dirt can be wiped with a wet paper towel without a sign of it if you are quick enough. We use hand held carpet cleaner for the more difficult ones, and it comes out easily with that. The fabric is starting to pill, but that’s expected and really my only complaint. Update 3 years in--still beautiful. Got lazy and put the cushion covers in the washer/dryer on low heat instead of using the carpet cleaner, and they came out completely fine & look brand new! Wayfair did a great job of refunding me some money when the couch was delivered defective even though it wasn't a defect that kept me from using the sofa. Product = Great. Customer Service = Phenomenal. My issue is with the "Red Barrel Studio" re-branding. It turns out the sofa is actually the Jackson Furniture Ava Sofa and has a much lower price point at stores nearby. I find that to be slightly questionable and would recommend that customers considering this couch look for the Jackson Furniture version locally first. When I spoke with the customer care team, they said this was pretty common practice which now makes me wonder if I should double check ALL items on Wayfair against local competitors for better prices. The fabric is soft with a nice texture, similar to a tweed. A handful of negatives that do not justify knocking it down to 4 stars…first, I saw previous reviews that the couch arrived poorly wrapped and therefore arriving damaged. We actually ended up having to wait 2 months because the first couch we ordered was damaged in transit. It appears that they learned their lesson, this couch arrived wrapped very carefully and in perfect condition. My main negative is the legs the couch comes with. For such a beautiful couch, it does not deserve cheap plastic legs. I went on Wayfair and found wood legs for $26 that you can screw into the bottom, transforming the couch into luxury. If you choose to do this, keep in mind this couch is already pretty tall. I made the mistake of getting 6” legs at first, I ended up switching them out for 3.5” legs.
