The windows let air circulate and keep the birdhouse homely. The built-in drainage helps it remain hygienic and habitable for small birds. I live in a little ornate Victorian here in Eureka, CA, Zone 9b. So I was surprised to find this wonderful Victorian birdhouse on Wayfair. I'm 78 and arthritic, so I'll have to find a nice young helper to put it up on a tall post, but it will spotlight the historic nature of Old Town and its detailed Victorian architecture. My house and garden will be on Eureka Heritage Society's Annual Home and Garden Tour in June of 2027, and my recent Wayfair purchases will draw folks to the back corner bird sanctuary designed by Wayfair sellers of birdhouses, birdbaths, bird feeders, wind chimes, and weather vanes. What a fun project!. Anonymous. Eureka, CA. Thu Sep 24 2026

This fireplace features a high quality solid wood frame with a sturdy texture. Solid craftsmanship creates a solid and cozy tone for your home.

The fireplace is lovely. Perhaps I should have gone with the white in my space but it looks good nonetheless. I wish there was a crackling fire sound effect included for this price point. I’ll have to come up with my own system. It’s solid, my 20lb cat jumps to the mantle without shaking it. Last point the metal grille is painted to look “antiqued”. It makes it look a bit plastic, but it’s the details in the wood surround that really make the fireplace.. Ja. Seattle. Tue Mar 17 2026
