The daybed is solid at least what is put together by an Angi List person who arrived 45 minutes late and left the job incomplete. Once someone comes to finish it I'm sure it'll be just as I expected the daybed to be.. Linda. Vacaville, CA. Sun Jun 14 2026

The bronze color is a rich matte finish brown. I am 64 yo and was able to build it by myself. It did take a while (NOT 1.5 hours for me) and as another reviewer said, pushing all those plastic pieces in was rough on the hands ! It does seem very sturdy though. Well built, not flimsy at all. Don't tighten anything at all until everything is together - leave it really loose. Had to go back and loosen at first for more flexibility in connecting. 8" mattresses coming tomorrow - $99 deal each so the whole thing will be less than $500 for my grandchildren when they visit so they no longer have to bring sleeping bags or camp out on the floor ! I'd show you after the bedding is on but I'll prob forget so here it is....for now. Wendy. Ocean, NJ. Thu Oct 15 2026

Delivery was awesome. I’m an elderly petite woman. My FedEx delivery guy was most helpful bringing the heavy boxes in. When my husband got home we turned on some music and worked on assembling it together. The instructions were precise and it went well. It is well made and sturdy. I went to Marshall’s and found the right color of blue bedding to match. Sorry Wayfair, but I didn’t want to take a chance on ordering on line. I wanted to see the colors before purchasing. There’s so many variations of blue. I’m very pleased with my purchase. I have bought many items from Wayfair and have been overall satisfied. My girlfriend just bought a loveseat and recliner from Wayfair because of my raving of how satisfied I am. She said that during Labor Day weekend she shopped at the local furniture stores and was told delivery would be 2-4 weeks. Mine was 2 days. I spoke with her last evening and she already purchased from Wayfair and was waiting for her son to help assemble it!. Lynn. Tampa, FL. Sun Sep 13 2026

This bed arrives in four separate packages. One of the boxes is over 80 lb and will require additional assistance to move for average homeowner. The side rails as well as footboard come fully assembled out of the box. The headboard requires the side legs to be attached but this process is very simple. The support rails for the bed are extremely flimsy and using this bed as a trundle will not allow you vertical support to stop the mattress from sagging in the middle over time. Dinged a star for that. The trundle portion comes in its own separate box of the four and requires complete assembly which is very straightforward. Two of the threaded nuts that come pre-installed were missing in the holes allowing me no way to attach screws so I had to get creative as this is something the average homeowner might struggle with. The cracked wood is my fault for not predrilling. As a bonus the side rails of the bed have the mattress supports glued prior to painting and I'm including photos of the lumps of glue which are not a big deal but nice to know that the rails are physically glued as well as screwed. The trundle face came with 2 dents but my kids will do way worse in time. I would recommend this bed as it can be used stand alone, with a trundle, with the rails lowered for easier access, and also used with an existing box spring and metal frame.. Justin. Loxahatchee. Got this bed for our son. All in all it’s a very nice bed. Wanted the gray one but settled for the cream color as it is 50 cheaper. The upholstery is beautiful and soft. The bed is sturdy, i just wish the slats and the feet that supports the slats were made of metal. Take note that the maximum thickness of the twin trundle mattress is 8in anything thicker won’t fit. We got a 10inch mattress for the full bed, i think an 8 or a 12inch mattress would work fine too. It took us 2hrs to assemble it. Our son loves the bed. We took a gamble in this bed as it did not have any reviews ha! In summary We are happy for this purchase.. May. Queens, NY. Sat Jun 13 2026

This twin daybed with a trundle brings a versatile sleeping solution to your guest room or home office. The frame is made from a blend of solid and engineered wood, featuring a clean-lined silhouette wrapped in polyester upholstery with a linen-like texture. We love how the integrated trundle unit rolls out on convenient casters to provide extra sleeping space for overnight guests and then tucks away to save floor space. This daybed also includes a system of slats that support your mattresses without the need for a bulky box spring.

Building this daybed with trundle lasted a few hours. Kids kept interrupting but like another review mentioned, the slats aren’t marked so it was too late to make corrections after screwing them to the boards. Other than no markings, it went well with just me putting it together, unlike the suggested 2 people. Therefore, 4 stars. One star off for no markings on the tools, screws, and slats.. Marcy. It took me four hours by myself to put together but the instructions were ok and all the hardware was there. Construction of the wood parts was good. It's very solid and I love having the trundle option under the bed. Just remember that you need a thinner mattress for the trundle pull out than for the top bed. It was such a savings to put it together myself then to purchase one in a furniture store. I purchased the grey version which is a soft hazy color.. Melissa. Hubbardston, MA. Wed Jun 17 2026
