Pleased with my purchase. The queen size bed frame and headboard came in excellent condition. The construction appears solid. Assembly took less than 30 minutes. However, if you arent very familiar with furniture assembly instructions, you may struggle a little as none of the pieces were labeled with the numbers used in the instructions. That being said, if you look carefully at the diagrams, you should be fine. Bed assembly is pretty straightforward. It does have a slight varnish smell that has started to fade after 3 days.. A.. This bed is a great piece of furniture. I love that it is solid wood. It matches my current bedroom furniture perfectly. While the instructions seemed simple enough to assemble, a couple of pieces did not fit together well and I had to order replacement parts. Once I received those it was fairly simple to assemble but I would suggest having a rubber mallet as some of the parts fit very tightly together. Good materials and overall sturdy but it’s not easy to put together. You pretty much NEED a drill and two people. The center supporting legs do not all reach the floor so sitting down on it can cause noise. The frame is also bigger than a queen size mattress so there will definitely be a gap on one end.. This is a very nice bed once assembled. "Easy Assembly" is up for interpretation. We managed to get it all put together, but one of the linking systems in the back of the bed was slightly off. Needed to recruit the building Super, handyman and one mallet to whack it into place. I wasn't strong enough to do it myself.
