With Wayfair, you never know what you're going to get, but this bed is nicer than we were expecting! The headboard and footboard are solid wood and the sides slide in easily. Our king size Sleep Number bed fits great with room for the head and foot to lift. We love that there is more than 12” of under-bed clearance, which is enough room for a couple of storage bins filled with seasonal apparel or extra bedding. This metal bed has sturdy slats that provide a solid foundation for your mattress. The system of slats eliminates the need for a box spring – simply top it with the standard mattress of your choice (sold separately). Besides, assembly is required, but from what we hear, it’s pretty straightforward.

Love, the fact that no boxspring was needed. Sits off the floor high enough to slide things underneath for storage. Now the mattress does slide left and right a bit, so looking for some type of grip, but definitely happy with this bed. Took about an hour and 45 minutes for my husband and I to put together..
