Decent bed. Feels sturdy enough I was able to put it together alone, but it took about 8 hours going at a slow pace with lots of breaks. Get a kneepad if you have one. Be sure to look at both sides of each piece immediately after you attach to make sure you have the right orientation. I found a backwards one twice and it was a considerable setback. The directions could be confusing at times, generally just sitting and staring at the parts for a bit or looking ahead to next few steps would made it clear. I'm giving it a 4 star review be use a received 3 unlabeled parts, luckily I could narrow them down. And because the pull out shelfs cannot be wheeled out , at least if you have carpet, and are a very tight fit. Photo attached shows why. The bottom of the shelf sides touches the ground and makes the wheels pointless. I will likely use them in the closet instead. The storage drawers are a little awkward to use. It was a bit time consuming to make this bed, at some parts the instructions were a little unclear. Regardless we got it together (hardware set was missing 1 washer), and it fit our son's mattress well. I like the built in shelving and holes for charging. Unfortunately the led light strip provided didn't work, but its ok since our son didnt need it. I like putting his favorite books and toys on the shelves, and I can plug in one of his night lights into the port which makes up for the light bar not working. Very nice king size bed frame, but it has SO MANY PIECES.. it took us 4 hours to put this together. The drawers underneath are flimsy wire racks that have tiny plastic wheels underneath. I ordered the wood frame with headboard for my granddaughters room. She had a queen size bed originally but it took up so much space. This bed frame and headboard are much smaller.
