This is a great futon style mattress. The frame is not included and I did not buy a frame for it but it comes with the slots so a frame can easily slide through the cover. I bought it soecifi to slide u set the bed and pull out for when my daughter had sleep overs so her friends can sleep on it and it works perfect for that. I recently had to use it to when we had family stay in town. I like that it fits my fitted sheets and it’s pretty comfortable to sleep. My daughter likes that she can use it as a couch in her room. This is a really great sleeper chair or mattress! I have family members who visit and bring their yound kids, and it's perfect for putting on the floor so the kids can stay in the room with their parents. It sits pretty low to the ground but can be folded several ways to make it into a loveseat, sleeper chair, sofa bed or put on a futon as the mattress. It's very soft and comfortable to lay on so would be great to use even if you wanted to bring it to sleep on when you go camping! Not quite as comfortable as a regular mattress, but it's fine to sleep on. Much easier to move around and store than a regular mattress, though. I like the two sides suited for summer/winter.
