It’s cute, much more white than “beige”, which I liked. It’s soft and comfortable to sit in when it’s against a wall. Haven’t tried sleeping on it yet. This turned out to be a great purchase and exactly what I needed. It was quick and easy to assemble, and the mattress is truly 5 inches with good-quality memory foam-my Pops says it’s very comfortable and said he doesn't need a mattress topper. It’s easy to open at night and store in the morning, rolls smoothly without scratching my floors, feels sturdy with the wheels locked, and fits perfectly in my small living room closet. I’m very pleased with the quality. For extra peace of mind, I did purchase a thin rubber floor runner to roll it on when moving it to and from the closet, and I added quarter-size felt pads under the legs for additional floor protection. Worked well for our studio vacation rental, where people occasionally don't read the description and don't realize it only offers one queen bed until they walk in! This will fold away into the closet under the stairway when not in use. All the tools needed to assemble the bed are included in the package upon delivery. We had to flip the footboard to where we were putting the headboard to make the holes match - so before you panic, try that! I ordered two of these beds for extra Thanksgiving guests. They were delivered quickly. The quality is overall very good. I was concerned when I initially opened the package and found dents in several of the struts. It turned out these dents had nothing to do with the strength of the product (see photos). I am a small 58-year-old female with reasonable mechanical ability and assembled the beds by myself. One of the beds had a wrench that did not fit. I have options in my tool chest, but fortunately the wrench in the other bed fit fine (see photo). My guests found the beds comfortable. They are narrow, but large enough to be adequate for a few nights. I set them up in the exercise area of my basement, and really had plenty of room. The mattress is firm memory foam and so I put a 2" mattress topper on it (cut twin to fit) and it's very comfortable now for my personal needs. It's probably better that it's on the firm side because you can adjust that with a topper but if it was too soft, there's nothing you could do. I'm very happy with my purchase and plan on using it in my mini van for camping. As an older person I can't afford to not be comfortable when I sleep or I'll pay for it. Putting this together was no joke. That and the inaccurate measurements (see below) are my reasons for taking off a star. I was able to put it together alone but it took 3 days, and a lot of sore muscles, and really should have just asked for help. You ABSOLUTELY need a drill at minimum. The measurements are also off. It is 65” and a hair wide, and at full extension, the bed FRAME alone extends out 88” from the wall and the legs add an additional 2-3”. If you are putting this in a tight space as I was, be sure to note these measurements. The overall quality is however pretty high, especially for the price when I compare to the 3-4k beds I was looking at on other sites.
