The only complaint I think we had when putting together is the screws labeled D were too short for some of the parts they instructed us to use them for so we used the longer one of the same size (Screw A) and it worked out. This is just what we were looking for. Stairs for safety, and a small desk that leaves plenty of room under the loft for playing. I was able to build this by myself in a day (breaks for mom-ing and work) and the bed was very easy to assemble. The stairs where honestly really trickey to build. I gave it 4 stars because several pieces came with dents (they are thenkfully on the backside), the screws for the doors on the stairs did not hold well (the bottom one we ended up keeping off for the cat), and lastly the rails are not as high as I'd like.
