Its plunger lid, with a built-in microfilter in the spout, pushes grounds to the bottom of the pot and filters out sediment when pouring fresh-brewed coffee. Simply measure medium-ground coffee directly into the glass (approximately 2 rounded tablespoons per 8-ounces of water, or to desired taste).
