Very easy to install and look great. I have been living with door stops for uneven doors for the past 8 years- finally got a quote for repair that was outrageous, and decided I'd go this route instead. I got the brass color (which is an antique/aged brass tone- not the bronze color pictured) and am considering using some rub and buff to make the silver magnets the same tone... however it still looks good with the two tones. One thing to note- to take the smaller piece apart for screwing in, you'll need to push in the middle silver piece and hold it against the back with your thumb and pointer finger to turn. These vintage style door levers are constructed of diecast and come in a beautiful finish. They feature a heavy weighted casting design and unique Silencer bushings for smooth operation. This set of levers is designed for indoor use only, and it includes one 2-3/4 inch steel spindle, and one 3-5/8 inch steel spindle with 3/8 inch-20 threads. These French style levers fit 1/4 inch square drive spindle systems commonly found in antique and vintage door hardware sets, and with the two (2) provided square spindles, it can adjust to accommodate doors of different thicknesses. The lever shanks include setscrews for fastening to the square spindles. All other components of matching vintage design must be purchased separately to include the internal mortise lock body, the door rosettes, the trim and strike plates, or the latch and fasteners. Note: These levers cannot be used on pre-bored doors that have large, newer style doorknob holes without first prepping them to receive this older-style hardware. Installation tip: Because the fasteners of the rosettes (purchased separately) require a solid surface to mount to, the large 2-1/8 inch (approximate size) holes must first be filled with a hardening filler, to then be able to receive the rosette fasteners. Products like Fix-It-All and Bondo Body Filler have worked well for some, but care must be used to avoid damaging any prefinished door surfaces during application and finishing.

An elegant and very efficient and effective way to hold the doors in place, very easy to fit in place I did it by myself and with minimal hassle. We replaced 5 doors with it as it match other new hinges etc, the wind doesn’t move the doors, very quite to use when open the door . It is a great addition to any home renovation. the design of this brass door stop is very nice and elegant - the shape is lovely and it looks very durable. However, I was disappointed to find that it didnt come with any hardware to mount it to the floor. Given the weight and design of the stop, I expected it to be easy to install, but without the screws, Im left wondering if Ill need to purchase additional hardware. Overall, Id recommend this product to those who are looking for a stylish door stop, but be aware that you may need to source your own mounting screws.
