Arrived damaged on one corner and a small dent thru the veneer on the table top. Wayfair said the manufacturer would reach out in two business days but its so heavy I dont want to handle a return. I think Ill put a coat of lacquer on it to keep my kids from scratching it. For the price this is an excellent solid table. Fits great in my small space and two wider chairs still fit side by side on the length. Gorgeous table, large, sturdy, pretty easy to extend, but I'm disappointed with the quality of the top. FYI 'engineered wood' top means a wood-look laminate type finish over top of particle board. It's attractive but the lines in the picture are actually grooves which every single crumb gets stuck in, but even worse, if any water gets in there it soaks in and bubbles the surface. It is a sturdy table and the extension insert is easy ro put together, even though I am a senior citizen, with spine injuries. I did it myself. Many compliments were received. The negative part is that it arrived broken. The customer service was most helpful and we resolved the issue.
