Built it over a gravel pad that I did myself. Only needed an electrician for the final hook ups. Please note on the BILT App and in the pictures the front and back vent are shown in the wrong place. The front vent should be below the heater and the back vent should be high and above the benches. This was an easy build that I did alone with only the usual amount of rework due to my own laziness in reading instructions. The sauna itself is an amazing deal and perfect as a single person sauna. This is a great set! We were thrilled to get such a good deal too. As other reviews mentioned, it did take six hours to build and some holes needed to be adjusted, but no hardware was missing. Don’t even attempt without a drill and have a second (possibly third) person to help. The “sandbox” area underneath doesn’t seem appropriate for sand because the planks are too low. I can’t imagine it holding much sand and a kid sitting on top, but it’s fine. We weren’t putting sand anyway. The kids think it’s a little secret hangout to play with other toys. You do need to use anchors or else the set will move with enough kids on it. The anchors are VERY long, so we bought shorter ones because we are anchoring into turf and not thick sod. If you live somewhere where you can have real grass, the anchors it comes with will be fine…. I have the kids swing opposite each other to balance out their weight just in case. Slide is sturdy and fast, but is mounted well for safe landing. The wide swing can hold two kids - that’s been a hit. What I’ve noticed, it’s a set for smaller children… like preferably toddlers. My daughters are 6 and 9 and they say it feels small, but still play on it fine. My oldest will have to eventually crouch and crawl, but kids are nimble lol. My son is 3 and it’s just perfect for him! We already had a party with a bunch of kids. At one point there were about 10 kids crawling all over this thing and it held up fine! Built it over a gravel pad that I did myself. Only needed an electrician for the final hook ups. Please note on the BILT App and in the pictures the front and back vent are shown in the wrong place. The front vent should be below the heater and the back vent should be high and above the benches. This was an easy build that I did alone with only the usual amount of rework due to my own laziness in reading instructions. The sauna itself is an amazing deal and perfect as a single person sauna. We researched swing sets for so long. We read so many reviews and stressed over it. We finally went with this one because it had a lot going on but was also compact for our small space. We absolutely love it. It looks incredible. There are so many things to do on it and it looks so beautiful. Someone even asked me if it was the stock photo!
